According to the laws in South Korea, all older men between the ages of 18 and 30 must provide their services to the country by enlisting in their military service for a period of approximately 2 years, a time during which they will be confined in the army.

Due to this, K-Pop idols must stop their professional activities and musical careers to serve their country throughout this period, during which fans eagerly await the return of their favorite artists in good health and with new projects.

In recent days, a very interesting vote was conducted led by Idolpick, in which fans were asked  “Who are you looking forward to after the discharge?“, With the answer, it was demonstrated that the fans of this artist are very pending on him and eagerly awaiting his return.

This is Jin from BTS, who dominated the voting that took place from October 9th to 15th, obtaining a result of 19,417 selections, demonstrating his incredible popularity and influence in the Korean music industry.

This artist, who entered military service on December 13th, 2022, works as an assistant; previously, he was a commander in tactical practices, and in the training completion ceremony, he received attention as an orchestra director.

The oldest member of BTS was the first of the group to join the army after the septet’s hiatus announcement, causing great pride for his devotion to the country as well as sadness in the fans who feel his absence and eagerly await his discharged, which is scheduled for June 13th, 2024.

However, this is not the only member of the group who has enlisted; months later, J-Hope joined, and later, Suga left. In addition, the rest of the members are expected to join the service before this year, 2023, ends.

Is Jin from BTS also the idol you most hope will be discharged?
