Spanish royalty is the cheapest of the monarchies

Royalty has always been characterized by having great luxuries, very large amounts of money and properties that give them an impressive power over others, which is why, although many do not know well what functions have a royal member, what is known is that they do not have economic problems.

Despite the incredible expenses that royal members have, one news has been resonating lately and that is that, apparently, Spanish royalty is not as expensive as we all would have imagined.

Felipe VI revealed his personal wealth, something that no one has ever done before in Europe, valued at around 2.6 million euros. The monarch receives an annual sum of 269,296 euros, to which he can add Letizia’s 148,105 euros.

The fact that the king has no problem revealing his earnings is something completely interesting that has made a lot of talk, since everyone expected him to have more, but let’s remember that the king has renounced his father’s inheritance.

With this amount it became known that the Spanish royal family is the cheapest, but if they are the least expensive, what is the most? Yes, it is the British family, as we would have imagined before.

Almost a third of the 99 million euros earmarked for the restoration of Buckingham Palace was allocated by the end of 2022. In addition to this money, one must add the economic activity of the Duchy of Lancaster and Cornwall, which is exempt from taxation. Charles III receives about 46 million euros annually in profits from companies and properties in these territories.
