The boys announced their highly anticipated 11th mini-album, “Seventeenth Heaven” On September 20 with a trailer titled “OPENING CEREMONY,” which is described as vibrant and shows an elaborate festive stage located in the serene surroundings of a field. This teaser caused huge furor among their fans, better known as the Carats.
On October 23, KST, YG PLUS, Seventeen’s EP distributor announced that “Seventeeth Heaven” already surpassed 5,206,718 stock pre-orders, smashing their own personal record with their 10th mini-album “FML,” which achieved 4.67 million stock pre-orders. This subsequently made them the South Korean act with the highest stock pre-orders of any K-pop album in history.
On October 22, Seventeen created a hyping atmosphere with two trailers from their upcoming song off the album, titled “음악의신” which translates to “God of Music.” The song is set to be released to boost the album even more. Seventeen’s Wonwoo revealed that, for this music video, they learned the choreography in five hours in Budapest and went straight to film, describing the routine as difficult.
