Gargoyles will have a live action from Disney

Many times when we read Live Action and Disney in the same space hopes disappear, and the fact is that the studio that recently turned 100 years old has had a very bad run with the live action movies they have been producing.

Gargoyles will be coming through a live action series, but it is normal that all the people show much fear for this after having productions like The Little Mermaid that were a chaos for the expectations that were had.

Gargoyles will have a live action from Disney

According to Variety, Disney intends to produce a live-action series to revive the plot of New York’s legendary warriors known as “Gargoyles.” However, the episodes will be written by Gary Dauberman instead of the original creators, Greg Weisman and Frank Paur.

The “Gargoyles” storyline was mysterious and kept kids in suspense, as it mentioned magic and fighting for good, even solving police cases. So the fact that Disney is taking a chance on more mature content will be a very interesting change.

The “Gargoyles” animated series premiered in 1994 and was included in a more recent animated series that featured a complicated plot and darker story arcs than usual.

This is not the first time that this distinctive title that was part of many people’s childhood has had a makeover and even new productions, as, Gargoyles Remastered, a revision of the 1995 Mega Drive exclusive game, will be released on October 19, 2023 for PC, Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
