Disney is one of the most successful companies when it comes to animated films and when it comes to live-action adaptations, it is not left behind, as its productions have raised large sums of money at the global box office with titles such as ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘The Lion King’, and ‘Aladdin’.
Soon, the entertainment giant will bring to the big screen new adaptations of animations that could be classified as ‘classics’ that have earned the public’s affection over all these years. Below, we will present what’s new that Disney will bring in live-action format:
‘Snow White‘: Walt Disney’s first animated film from 1937, this classic story will give us a fresher version and with a very different image quality, led by great stars such as Gal Gadot, who will play the evil queen, and Rachel Zegler as the protagonist of this installment, Snow White.

‘Mufasa: The Lion King‘: Although you may know these characters, this is a new story, never told before, focused on Mufasa during his formative years, and with the help of Rafiki and Timon, the stories will be told about his path to becoming king.
‘Hercules‘: The demigod with super strength who was raised among mortals is one of the most anticipated adaptations by fans. Although the details have not yet been shared, it is expected to be faithful to the classic animated story that we know. Guy Ritchie, the director of ‘Aladdin’, will be in charge of this title.
‘Moana‘: Dwayne Johnson will give life to the demigod Maui in the live-action version of the acclaimed film starring Moana. This adaptation, like the original, will focus on Pacific island traditions. Despite being a relatively new film, his moving story has conquered the hearts of the public.
