Deadpool 3 Officially Delays Release Date

The actors’ strike has definitely affected the industry as no one imagined, since, despite the fact that the writers are back as they managed to reach an agreement, it seems that the actors will not be sedated by the negotiation strategies that the studios are offering.

The future is so uncertain that even George Clooney is offering $150 million dollars to end the actors’ strike, indicating that they all want to return to work in the industry that is so famous. Now, with the delay of these productions, there is already one highly anticipated title that will be delayed.

Deadpool 3 Officially Delays Release Date

One of the comic book world’s favorite characters is undoubtedly Deadpool, the quintessential anti-hero who won the hearts of audiences with a rather black sense of humor that gave a refreshed image in his first two films. Now, while waiting for the third one, it has been confirmed that it will be delayed to the date we were all waiting for.

Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy recently stated:

“I don’t even know if we officially have [a release date]. I know we were going to come out on May 3. Certainly the actors’ strike and the long break in production have put that release date in real jeopardy. We’ve shot half the movie. I’ve edited half of the film. We’re anxious to get back to work and get this film out next year.”

He also states that the production of the film has come to an end and that even the production of everything shot so far is ready. Therefore, the only thing left is to wait for the conflict between the actors’ union and the main production companies to be resolved.
