The future of Deadpool’s third movie is uncertain

Deadpool became one of the most beloved superhero movies of all time, as it is a character with a very characteristic humor that has won the hearts of the audience and with 2 movies has managed to be much more successful than many hero movies we know.

With the first movie Deadpool became a success, with the second installment only gave us a high quality film, making the excitement for a third installment was completely real, now, with all the problems that have been living in Hollywood, the future of these films is completely uncertain.

Months ago it was announced that a third installment of the most famous anti-hero would arrive to theaters, as Deadpool would be about to release a third movie and we would see heroes that we already wanted from before, such as Wolverine, now, it is not well known what will happen with that movie, but it is expected to come out soon.

Shawn Levy has stated in an interview with The Wrap/Yahoo Sports that he is not sure if “Deadpool 3” will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024, the original release date of the superhero movie.

“I wish I knew. I don’t even know if we have an official release date. All I know is that it was going to be May 3,” the director said in the same interview. “The actors’ strike and the very long pause in production have put this release date in serious jeopardy. We’ve shot half of the film. I’ve edited half of the film. We’re really looking forward to getting back to work and releasing it next year.”
