Pop star Britney Spears recently announced the release of her memoir book ‘The Woman in Me‘, which will be available on October 24th of this year, where she will finally have the opportunity to tell her own story for herself, revealing a lot of her painful past.
In an interview with People magazine, the singer announced that she will tell about a sad experience that she has had saved for a long time, and it is the pregnancy she had in her youth, the result of her love relationship with the singer Justin Timberlake, who was 18 years old when their romance began.
“Justin was definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said that we were not ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young“. Britney confesses: “I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision“.
She also made it clear that if it depended only on her, she would have had it, and continued saying, “However, Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father“, which would mean that the actor’s opinion influenced the final decision.
Although abortion was another thing that tormented Spears, after she and the then member of ‘NSYNC’ decided to end their relationship in 2002, Britney got married and had two children; she even told People magazine, “Being a mom was my dream come true“.
