LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon suspends activities due to poor health

A few hours ago, Source Music, the agency behind K-Pop artist Chaewon, a member of the girl group LE SSERAFIM, announced in a new statement her temporary pause in the group’s activities in order to focus on her health and changes in her agenda.

“While she was recovering from her influenza A treatment, she continued to experience dizziness, so she visited the hospital on October 13th and she was informed by medical staff that she needed to rest at the moment“, the agency said.

Taking this into account, it has been decided that the artist will be put on pause and her activities will be suspended until her health is completely recovered, which will prevent her from attending the group’s next activities, such as those scheduled for this 16th October.

“With this, she will not be participating in any programming, including the NPOP pre-recording scheduled for today“, said the record company, which has made it clear that “the group will function as a four-member group for at the moment“.

In addition, they have also shared with fans that they will inform about the idol’s expected resumption in upcoming activities and that they will do everything possible to guarantee a return in good health.

In recent days, the LE SSERAFIM member drew attention when she was related to BTS member Jungkook, who upon making public his TikTok account has been a trend with his comments on two of Chaewon’s posts that has caused rumors between them.

The first was in a video in which the female idol had a hiccup attack in the middle of a stage performance, and the second was when she commented “How much sugar is in each one?” in a video advertising of the South Korean artist for Jim Beam drink.
