Justin Timberlake became widely famous after debuting in 1995 with the boy band NSYNC, which met success worldwide. Similarly, Britney Spears debuted in 1999 with her smash single, “Baby One More Time” and both of these giant artists met each other and started an official relationship in 1999.
After three years of a romantic relationship, Timberlake and Spears decided to break up because of a possible affair that Britney Spears had. However, when the tabloids took over the world blaming Spears, the singer didn’t try to clear her name and the story remained untold, until now.
The relationship’s break up became a public interest after Justin released his song, “Cry Me Like A River” and Britney decided to address it with her ballad, “Every Time.” Despite both of the singers moving on, the controversy resurfaced in 2021 after the New York Times released a documentary about the 2000 iconic artist titled “Framing Britney Spears.”
The documentary showed Britney’s journey with her mental health struggles and the conservatorship helmed by her father, Jamie Spears. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the aftermath of Timberlake and Spears’ break up and whether she cheated or not. The artist received backlash once again and was forced to issue a belated apology to the singer after years of silence.
“I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right, “I know this apology is a first step and doesn’t absolve the past,” he continued. “I want to take accountability for my own missteps in all of this. … I can do better and I will do better.”
Then why is Justin Timberlake still concerned about Britney’s memoir?
Britney announced her highly-anticipated memoir, “The Woman In Me” is set to be published on October 24 and Justin Timberlake already showed concern according to sources from Page Six.
“He’s very curious about what she’ll reveal from their relationship. It’s eating at him.”
Britney Spears’ bombshell memoir might surprise the world with a couple of revelations, but not necessarily from his relationship with Timberlake after a US Weekly report insisted the memoir is “not a takedown” of anyone. Only after the premiere, we will know if Britney Spears is going to reveal further information about her past relationship.
