Warner Bros. may be holding back James Gunn and his DCU plans

Hollywood has been in turmoil for many months and not only because of the serious strike that the film industry has been experiencing, and despite the fact that the strikes have stopped with the writers, negotiations with the actors have not improved.

Apparently the problems go even further back, where even big name directors have been affected by the studios behind them and a good example would be Warner Bros. and James Gunn.

The superhero cinema has gone through very interesting and evolving moments, as it had a great moment of glory that has quickly declined, since the money it is making at the box office is not enough ea those that would be estimated, but then come adaptations in series such as Loki that become a success and makes superheroes become fashionable again.

James Gunn decided to take command of a whole industry of superheroes extremely interesting, since it is the entire DC universe that has the Justice League, where we have seen movies of Batman or Wonder Woman, but apparently, James Gunn’s plans would also be seeing quite frustrated.

Apparently, James Gunn’s limitation goes directly to the studio, since according to James Gunn and Peter Safran, despite having a lot of power, they do not have full control of the entire DCU, especially the content that would go to HBO MAX, who is Warner the one in greater control.

Apparently the collaboration between these two worlds has to be a very close work, so that both can share their visions and make the following productions much more successful than what we already know has happened lately.

Regarding what is coming again with the DC universe, it is known that Superman: Legacy, Creature Commandos and Waller are ready to kick off this new era of the DC Comics Universe.
