One of the most important historical events of mankind is undoubtedly the arrival of man on the moon, but that’s just to talk about a fact, because just the fact that man can reach the space, is already an incredible work to imagine.

Astronauts are highly prepared people who must follow very important physical rules and training to be able to fulfill the special missions, that accompanied by a very controlled lifestyle and special suits that give them the freedom to leave the planet, but these are not just any suits, since they would even be using luxury suits.

Prada is a luxury clothing brand that makes its way in each of the catwalks and has quickly become one of the most important luxury brands that does not go out of fashion, even their artifacts each year that happens increases its value and now they would be making inroads to get off the planet.

The company hired by the U.S. space agency to develop suits, Axiom Space, announced a specific alliance for the development of this task. It is an agreement between the U.S. company and the Italian fashion brand Prada, who will collaborate to create the outfits to be worn by the astronauts.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Prada on the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit.” “will bring critical advanced technologies to ensure not only the comfort of astronauts on the lunar surface, but also the much needed human factors considerations absent in legacy spacesuits.”- stated Michael Suffredini, CEO of Axiom.

It is not the first time that a major fashion designer has become recognized for being part of historical events, and an example we can take into account would be the Hugo Boss clothing designed during the tragic World War II era.
