Will Smith went viral in 2022 when at the Oscars he reacted aggressively to a joke that Chris Rock made about his wife, Jada Pinkett, mocking of her alopecia, which cost him a slap from the renowned actor. Since then, many other scandals have come to light.
Actress Jada Pinkett is promoting the launch of her memoir titled ‘Worthy’, for this reason she had an interview with People magazine where she made a series of revelations and clarifications, hinting that her marriage to fellow rapper, Will Smith, has always been in the public eye due to so many rumors.
Chris Rock was one of the people who believed one of the media’s lies about the couple, and revealed his true intention with the Matrix actress, and Pinkett confessed the following: “Chris thought we were getting divorced. So who called me and said, ‘I’d love to go out with you’“, leaving him exposed.
The producer of ‘Karate Kid’ said that to avoid a misinterpretation of the request, she asked the comedian what he was referring to and according to Jada he responded: “‘Well, aren’t you and Will getting a divorce?’ I was like, ‘No. Those are just rumors’” which led to a very embarrassed Chris offering an apology.

In addition, Pinkett Smith also explained that during the break of the awards ceremony, Rock approached her to offer an apology saying “I didn’t mean to harm you“, she was unwell and responded by saying “I can’t talk about this right now, Chris“.
At the same time, she assured that she had not had any type of contact with the ‘Grown Ups’ actor since March 2022, clarifying that this last apology was the last time they exchanged words, but she said that her wish is that the misunderstandings with the comedian become clear and may there be peace for all again.
