Troye Sivan has gained a lot of attention since his debut in 2015 with his debut album “Blue Neighbourhood,” which sent him directly to stardom and into pop mainstreaming. The artist also released a hit song this year called “Rush” which became a global phenomenon and already made history again with a new music video featuring Ross Lynch shirtless in a chair.
On October 13, The Australian singer-songwriter released his highly-anticipated studio album, “Something To Give Each Other” which served as the comeback since his 2018 album, “Bloom” and his EP, “In A Dream” in 2020. Along with the album, Troye supported it with a new single called “ONE OF YOUR GIRLS”
The video shocked fans around the world after the iconic singer perfectly executed the video in a drag style/femboy, seducing his special guest, Ross Lynch who is shirtless watching Troye giving some pop feminine energy with his choreo and accessories.
The fans quickly stated this was one revolutionary video from the artist because he was trespassing the limits of what male artists have people used to watch. However, the online community also stated this is not the first time that a male singer has made this kind of video since Bad Bunny’s song, “Yo Perreo Sola” also shows the Latin artist in a similar style.
Despite the mixed reviews and split from the online community, undeniably, Troye Sivan has given a great run from his three singles from “Something To Give Each Other” by reinventing himself and giving nothing but quality in every release.
