Apparently Disney is not going through a great time, as it is going through a serious moment when it comes to numbers. A few years ago when you thought of Disney, you thought of success, but now the movies they have released have not met the expectations they had and they must have a new strategy.
Apparently, Disney is not going through a financial moment at the box office, meaning that the movies are not making enough money and this has been recognized by a Disney executive, who says she is tired of the failures she has experienced.
The Disney executive is “embarrassed and exhausted” by the company’s failures.
The news has come at a very particular moment, since Disney would be celebrating a century of presence, yes, 100 years in an epic anniversary that arrives on October 16, 2023, giving us an idea of the enormous company it is now and the worldwide presence it has opened.
It has been the media Bloomberg, who in a note wonders what has happened to the magic of the owner of the mouse brand, since apparently, Bob Iger, feels ashamed and exhausted of everything that is happening within the company, since apparently, Disney has a loss of $900 million since 2023.
The problems that Disney is experiencing are so serious that it was even announced that tickets to the parks could experience a price increase, including even parking. The justification they give is that they want to reinvest the money in the park itself, but knowing that they are not doing very well in the movie format would mean that it could be a problem for the company as a whole, not just the movie section.
What do you think about this? What do you think is the biggest mistake Disney is making? Do you think it will recover?
