‘Suits’ was a global phenomenon and a streaming juggernaut since its premiere in 2011. Now, the series creator, Aaron Korsh is currently under the development of a ‘Suits’ offshoot for NBC Universal as some sources stated to DEADLINE.
“Deals are still being negotiated, but I hear the project is expected to be fast-tracked with a serious commitment.”
The source also says this is not a reboot and it’s going to serve a new ‘Suits’ universe in the same vein as the CSI and NCIS franchises with brand new characters and new locations which potentially might be Los Angeles.
Despite there being no further information regarding the cast from the ‘Suits’ Universe, numerous sources have stated this is the perfect opportunity for Meghan to rekindle her acting career. Previously there were rumors she was in talks of an upcoming ‘Bodyguard’ sequel, and she moved from Montecito seeking for opportunities to star again on the small screen.
In addition, numerous royal followers and Meghan Markle’s fans stated her latest appearance in a video in association with Fischer House and the Invictus Games, Meghan brought back her fashion sense from her prominent role as Rachel Zane in ‘Suits’ which might be a hint from her comeback.
