After Pixar‘s most recent release, the film that has surprised the industry with its unexpected and delayed success at the box office, the one titled ‘Elemental‘ that premiered in June 2023, the production company has found itself in problems with Disney and must solve it as soon as possible.

Although many expected Pixar to succeed with the launch of this new production, its opening weekend was a failure, which only managed to raise just under 40 million dollars at the box office, which caused them to lose faith in it, taking into account tells of the success of his past productions.

However, later with its good word-of-mouth reviews, the film managed to position itself among the best premieres by achieving a comeback of 400 million dollars, it became a trend on the networks that many wanted to enjoy in theaters.

Even creative director Pete Docter was very excited and happy about the great interest that the public showed in this beautiful love story in the middle of an interview with Screen Rant, but this would not be enough to come out unscathed, since this first failure would keep Disney very attentive to upcoming projects.
