Kpop queens, aespa, released their summer bop “Better Things” on August 17, which was just in time for having a jam to dance to under the sun! The song was aespa’s second one to ever be released completely in English, with the first one being “Life is Too Short” last year.
Aespa was just out there queen-ing with the lyrics of the song, which talk about finally dumping that toxic ex or situationship. The video was also released with our 4 fav members slaying their visuals as usual, bringing those summer vibes with a colorful and bright concept. Here’s the MV in case you need a little reminder:
Fast forward to now: aespa is getting ready to drop ANOTHER (yes, you read that well) video for this summer anthem. Our girls confirmed their plans through aespa’s official profiles and teased us all with a poster. The result? The poster totally slays!
In the picture we can see the four aespa girls Winter, Karina, Ningning and Giselle chillin’ and probably getting a well-deserved sunbathing time on the beach. But both the poster and the video have a little twist: it will feature aespa in their “æ” (which stands for avatar experience).
This means we’ll get to see aespa slaying their avatar characters in a music video once again, and let’s say it was about time! Last time we saw our idols rocking their avatar characters was one year ago in the “Girls” official music video.
Mark your calendar and set up your alarm, MY! aespa’s “Better Things” (æ-aespa Ver.) is dropping tomorrow, October 6 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time and October 7 at midnight in South Korea.
