BTS’ Jimin has demonstrated his influence in the K-pop scene, even if he is not actively working on new music. The idol’s great performance skills and talent have been the perfect combination to help him achieve 100 million views on YouTube in his hit single, “Like Crazy.”
Earlier this year, Jimin dominated charts all over the world with his catchy song, “Like Crazy,” which blasted straight at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs charts, becoming one of the few South Korean solo acts to lead the chart.
The popular song was warmly received by Jimin’s fans, better known as the ARMY, as they stated he made such a sensational song during BTS’ hiatus because of the mandatory military service in South Korea
The “Like Crazy” Music video premiered on March 24 and after approximately six months and 11 days was able to achieve this new milestone. On October 5, Jimin’s music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, joining his music video for “Set Me Free Pt. 2” to achieve this astonishing record.
Those records have solidified Jimin’s solo career as one of the best acts in the Kpop scene and helped give exposure to the genre overseas. The ARMY flooded social media because of the achievement and expressed they feel proud of everything that Jimin has reached so far. In addition, the ARMY also expressed they cannot wait until Jimin releases his sophomore album and can be reunited once again with BTS.
