Attack on Titan to have a different ending? Fans would like to see that in a NEW manga chapter!

The Attack on Titan manga series concluded in 2021, leaving a bittersweet flavor on readers and fans due to its controversial ending. While the animated series is currently about to reach its climax, Attack on Titan viewers have quickly voiced out their opinions and expect a change for the ending, at least in the series.

This fervent request only got even more popular with the annoucement of a new Attack on Titan maga volume, which will be coming years after the discontent upon its culmination. Even though fans would love the author to revisit and change his original work, the chances of this happening are extremely slim – not to say impossible.

Instead, the author of the iconic series, Hajime Isayama, is set to drop a new volume of his work, which ended in volume 34. Don’t get too excited, though! This new volume will only have 18 pages and it is going to be titled “Bad Boys.” It is set to be included in Attack on Titan’s first official artbook “The Fly.” About the release, the author said:

“It’s been about two-and-a-half years since the serialization of Attack on Titan ended. We are now releasing a color art book. I’m very honored. I’m glad that the culmination of everything I’ve done so far has been compiled into a book.”

There are still no details about the plot “Bad Boys” will follow. However, Hajime told fans it was just an extra feature or a “bonus” he wanted to include in the “Attack on Titan Volume 35: The Fly,” so it seems unlikely that he will include any alternative endings or continue the story in an extensive way, given the fact that the new chapter is only 18 pages long.

These are some of the Volume 35 extras:

In the meantime, you can always catch up to the animated series on Crunchyroll. If you need a reminder, Attack on Titan’s finale was split into two and the second part is set to premiere on November 4.
