Since Disney announced in 2017 the acquisition of 21st Century Fox and all its properties, including the X-Men, many fans of these comics have been waiting for these new releases, however due to some inconveniences they have been delayed, but everything seems to be resolved now as good news has come to light.
In recent days, the media Deadline indicated in a new report, in which it cited many anonymous sources, that they agree that Marvel’s mutant project is in discussions, which has excited the entire industry, fans of these stories and the superhero genre.
According to statements, after the end of the Hollywood screenwriters’ strike, the film company has been in charge of listening to different ideas and proposals regarding the mutant universe to start their production, however this will be a long process.
The same media also indicated that it is likely that the company will not make a decision on who will be in charge of this X-men project until next year 2024, which means that enthusiasm must cease since the final result is expected to be brought to the public in a couple of years.
Marvel will reportedly start setting writer meetings later this fall for pitches on the upcoming live-action X-Men movie.

On the other hand, this mutant stage is already beginning and is already seen in the Marvel chronology, with characters like Kamala Khan from ‘Ms. Marvel‘ as her powers derive from the X gene, Mister Immortal from ‘She-Hulk‘ and Namor from ‘Wakanda Forever‘.
However, this information is still very premature, and we can only wait for the next updates from the film company regarding these upcoming and long-awaited projects.
