One of the most acclaimed series lately is undoubtedly, The Boys, as it is a very different vision of what we believe of superheroes, seeing a much wilder and aggressive side of genetically superior people.
The successful series decided that a spin-off was needed, which has come in a very funny way, as always, they show their particular humor now talking about something like Marvel.
The Boys’ spin-off pokes fun at Marvel’s ‘WandaVision’.
After the successful series of The Boys, the famous production company decided it would be a good time to air a spin-off, being well loved and well received by all the people who watched it.
The first episode of Gen V clearly shows the mention and teasing of WandaVision’s plot; a girl with powers speaks up says she is passionate about acting and mentions that she auditioned for a meditation project on grief through sitcoms. The main theme of the Scarlet Witch series was literally referenced, as it all centers around Wanda’s grief at losing her great love and brother.
The ancient avenger decides to take them to a town where she transforms them into sitcom characters. The way the girl says it is clearly an attempt to imitate Elizabeth Olsen’s voice to finish the mockery of Wanda’s grief.
The Boys, is a very interesting way to see super heroes and above all, a reality very close to the one we know but with figures like super heroes among us.
