Beyoncé has always been the standard for numerous artists around the world because of her hard work on every project, she puts her mind to it. The American singer embarked on a world tour, called ‘Renaissance World Tour’ and on the last date, she surprised everyone by releasing the trailer of the tour film.
On October 1, Beyoncé held the last date of her successful tour in Kansas at the City GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Her fans, better known as the Beyhive, were caught off guard after she concluded the show by showing on the screen the first preview of her upcoming project.
Last week, numerous media outlets like DEADLINE and Variety reported Beyoncé was set to release a new docu-style tour film from the Renaissance World Tour and speculated it was going to be released later this year. Beyoncé herself was in charge of addressing the rumors and gave the official release date.
‘Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé’ is going to be released on December 1st and it’s going to capture the creation and execution of the American artist’s 56-date tour where she shows liberating moments and LGBTQAI+ honoring spotlight on ballroom culture.
“The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged. Start over, start fresh, create the new — that’s what the Renaissance is about.”
This is not the first time Beyoncé has released a documentary performing as she released ‘Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé.’ in 2019 after becoming the first Black woman to headline Coachella and she documented it in one of the most critically acclaimed music films of all time.
