Remember that time when you were lucky (and little) enough to catch an episode or two of Captain Tsubasa? We would not be joking when we say this anime was part of a whole generation, and as of now, it has become a nostalgic piece. Captain Tsubasa has also been reimagined through different remakes and movies, some more popular than others.
Now, after rocking a revamped first season (premiered in 2018) our favorite soccer player is back and totally ready for round two. The reason? “Captain Tsubasa Season 2: Junior Youth-hen” just hit small screens today! For context, the story’s all about Oliver Atton, who’s got mad dreams of winning the Soccer World Cup. Of course, nothing’s free so he’ll face off some other soccer prodigies who are going to shake up his game.
With the new season being dropped just today, you won’t be left hanging for long, and if you’ve been waiting for the continuation of the series since 2018, then mad props to you! So, catch the premiere of the second season and then keep the hype through Amazon Prime, Google Play Movies, and Pluto TV. Hopefully, Crunchyroll will also start streaming it soon!
Fans old and new are definitely buzzing with Captain Tsubasa’s second season. This is probably a chance for them to reconnect with Oliver’s story. Thanks, to streaming magic, things will become much easier and everyone’s onboard for the ride of the new episodes.
