When the internet learned that Margot Robbie would be the actress to bring Barbie to life the world was thrilled, as the actress gave an incredible performance bringing such an iconic figure as the doll to real life.
Despite all the success that Barbie has had, everyone would imagine that she would want to come back to impersonate the doll, but apparently the opposite is true, as Margot would not want to return for a sequel.
Margot Robbie doesn’t plan to return to a possible Barbie sequel
According to RadarOnline, Margot Robbie is thrilled that her partner Ryan Gosling is set to star in her next film, which will focus on her character in love. It is unlikely that a sequel will be made about her character.
In addition, the two-time Oscar-nominated actress says she has no intention of playing Barbie again because she believes her story comes to an end when Barbie becomes a real human being.
The media outlet reports that everyone at the studio is considering creating a movie about Ken, but a source reports that the idea of creating another movie about Margot Robbie as Barbie is practically out of the question.
“The ‘Barbie’ movie ended with Margot’s Barbie becoming a real woman. There’s no need for a follow-up to that journey, there’s plenty of room for Ryan to make a full-blown Ken movie with Margot involved behind the scenes.”
What do you think about it? Do you think Margot should return to a sequel to the hit Barbie movie?
