Fans had to call the police after Britney Spears appeared playing with knives on Instagram post

Britney Spears, the legendary pop star has been quite active in social media in recent years, making headlines for her unusual and weird looking dances that have made many people uncomfortable, and even led some to question her mental health status after being released from the conservatorship that she was under due to her erratic behavior and alleged substance abuse.

On September 25, the ‘Oops!…I Did It Again’ singer posted one of her most worrying videos to date. During the span of around 25 seconds, she’s seen dancing freestyle while holding what appeared to be two kitchen knives, one on each hand. The video sparked a huge conversation in social media, some worried fans called the Police department to check on her.

The iconic pop princess became a trending topic on Twitter due to the controversy, and she addressed the situation with yet another Instagram post. In the caption of the video in response to the conversation, Spears clarifies that those are rented prop knives, not kitchen knives as suggested, and that she was feeling inspired by another iconic singer, Shakira, who performed with knives on the MTV Video Music Awards a few weeks ago.

However, the new video was yet another one of her dancing with the same knives, which left the fans just as concerned as before. A fan argued that prop knives, fake ones, usually don’t sound like metal when they are clashed together, and that they seriosuly doubt the knives in the video were fake because the ones Britney used look and sound to be metal.
