ARMY, the wait is finally over! Jungkook of BTS has finally dropped his highly anticipated new track “3D.” The song comes a few months after the release of “Seven,” and even though we love that one, it was about time for our Golden Maknae to bless us with some vocal magic as only he can!
The song is mostly an R&B-oriented track with our Kpop king’s vocals graciously decorating every second of it. Seriously, Jungkook sounds great as usual and executes his runs and falsettos effortlessly. As if that wasn’t enough, the BTS member also showed his versatility in the second verse with a bombastic rap that already snatched everyone’s wig for sure.
The song was produced by David Stewart and Bloodpop, with the latter being mostly known for working with other juggernauts in the industry, such as the iconic Lady Gaga or pop prince Justin Bieber. The lyrics were also written by David Stewart and Bloodpop, but wait there’s more to it! Jack Harlow wrote his own two rap verses for the song. That’s right! he probably knew we’d be thirsty for “3D,” so he went on and made the song a little longer with a second rap around the end of the song.
Now, here’s the tea bout the impressive video: it was directed by no other than Drew Kirsch, who is famous for his work with A-list stars such as, Taylor Swift or Shakira. However, this is not the first time he works with Jungkook, as he also directed “Left and Right,” the song our Golden Maknae made with Charlie Put last year.
In the video we can see the BTS vocalist being the visual king that he is. The video has that Y2K vibe and it’s everything we didn’t know we needed! At first, we can spot Jungkook in a white outfit, showing his naked torso and chest, then he later displays his sharp dancing skills in an amazing choreo with the other dancers. Quintessential Jungkook, for real!
And what did you think about 3D?
