In the midst of its celebration for its 100th anniversary, Disney has decided to confirm to its public the inspiration it took from a historic castle in Spain, Europe, to make the castle that appears in the iconic animated film ‘Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs‘.
After a century of success, the company is celebrating with great projects, such as the launch of a short film with all its characters and an inspiring film titled ‘Wish‘, in addition to publishing a list of 30 locations that inspired many of its films.
Although this animated castle had always been compared to the European castle, and remained as an open secret, the company finally confirmed it, making this one of the most anticipated confirmations of all time.
This is due to the importance of this piece of cinema, the company’s first film, titled ‘Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs’ released in 1937, and the first animated film released in theaters, an icon in the film industry.
In its recent report, Disney confirmed that it was inspired by the Alcázar of Segovia, which is one of the most famous medieval castles in Spain and the world, dating back to the 12th century, a unique piece of history in the world.
Now that it is a fact, many can continue to conserve and praise these pieces of art that came together and have gone down in history and still remain iconic today.
