BLACKPINK breaks another YouTube record with one of their performance videos

BLACKPINK became one of the greatest girl groups of all time in 2016 because of their undeniable talent and catchy songs. The girls’ fans, better known as BLINKS, didn’t hesitate to rejoice around BLACKPINK’s amazing record for record the first K-pop Choreo surpassing 1.5 Billion views on YouTube.

BLACKPINK has made history once again as the group’s music agency, YG Entertainment announced that their smash hit “How You Like That” surpassed 1.5 billion views on YouTube on September 26 at 10:16 p.m. at Korean Standard Time, making it the first K-pop choreography video to reach this milestone on the streaming platform.

“How You Like That” also became BLACKPINK’s fourth official YouTube video to reach 1.5 billion views, joining “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Kill This Love,” and “BOOMBAYAH.” In addition, the choreo video was released on July 6, 2020, which marks just 3 years, 2 months, and 20 days to reach the mark which was highly praised by the BLINKS.

BLACKPINK keeps expanding their legacy and blueprint into the K-pop scene as they become widely famous worldwide, giving exposure to the genre overseas. It is expected that other music videos as  ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ reach this milestone soon. You can watch the choreography performance below:
