Amid all the rumors that have arisen following the expiration of the contract of the members of the K-Pop group BLACKPINK with their debut agency, YG Entertainment, it has been reported that two of them have established their own individual agencies.
After a new contract renewal with their label for 7 years has not been announced when their contract ended on August, fans have been concerned about what will happen in the future with the renowned girl group and if this band will continue together.
According to a recent exclusive report from News1, BLACKPINK idols Jennie and Jisoo are establishing the framework of their own agencies, with which they will focus on carrying out their projects of their solo careers.
For their part, they are also discussing the details of a possible contract with YG Entertainment, to continue doing BLACKPINK group activities. Apparently this would indicate that for 6 months a year they would promote the musical quintet.
However, responding to News1’s recent report, YG Entertainment commented: “There is nothing confirmed regarding BLACKPINK’s contract renewal and future activities“.
Previously, it had been reported that Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa would leave this agency to sign a contract with other different and foreign agencies, while Rosé would have been the only one to sign a renewal contract with YG, however it is not yet confirmed.
