Shakira told in an interview to Billboard how she survived to see her life ‘collapsed’

After more than 12 years of relationship, Colombian singer Shakira made the decision to separate from soccer player Gerard Piqué despite having 2 small children, as it seems they had irreparable damage in the relationship, making the decision to go their separate ways, including the country of residence.

Shakira told in an interview to Billboard how she survived to see her life ‘collapsed’.

Shakira told journalist Leila Cobo for Billboard that “I feel like a cat with more than nine lives. When I think I can’t recover anymore, suddenly I get up and have a second wind. I have gone through many stages, denial, anger, frustration, pain, anger again, and now I am in a stage of survival and keeping my head above water, and in a stage of reflection in which I am sharing all the time with my children”.

The journalist after a while listening to the singer, asked her about the radical changes she has had in recent months.

I believed in a ‘until death do not separate’, in my family, and more because my parents have been together, I don’t know, more than 50 years, and I feel how they love each other since the first day, so I feel that it is possible”.
