It’s hard to find different superhero stories, as unfortunately, we’ve become accustomed to bad stories with bad effects, but there could still be exceptions to the rule.
With the arrival of more movies, the superhero industry has had to innovate, as it has experienced big failures that many times the big production houses can no longer afford and hope not to lose so much year after year, but that could change, as a superhero movie very different from what we know is about to be released.
The most disturbing superhero in history is coming back with a reboot.
While we’ll likely have to wait a few months to get an official first look at ‘The Crow,’ Sam Pressman, the film’s producer, has issued some surprising statements to Deadline.
This adaptation of James O’Barr’s comic book, starring Rupert Sanders and Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd, looks to be Lionsgate’s most ambitious release for next year.
The Crow has been a very important and integral part of our company and I’m very proud of the progress and the work that has been done. I think people are going to flip out about the film. Our partners want to approach it in a very 360 way, whether it’s video games, an animated series or a universe, but it has this cosmic legacy that can expand beyond a singular story.
We’re finally at a point where we can really explore those other avenues because it’s such a unique property in the sense that it’s not a studio movie, it’s not a Marvel movie – it’s kind of an anti-Marvel movie. I have high hopes for it and I love what Molly Hassell has done to bring it to the top, and Rupert Sanders is a visionary.
What do you think about it? Are you ready to see this new superhero story starring such epic actors?
