United States Kpop girl group “VCHA” has now revealed its final line-up and dropped their pre-debut single today, September 22. The 6-piece group was put together in a reality competition show by JYP Entertainment called “A2K.” In addition, it has been also confirmed that VCHA was created in collaboration with the United States label, Republic Records. Both companies launched this project with the intention of creating the first Western Kpop girl group using a Kpop system.
After fiercely competing in the reality show for a spot in the final line-up, members: Lexi, KG, Camila, Savanna, Kaylee and Kendal are here with their pre-debut single, “SeVit (NEW LIGHT),” and the song “Y.O.Universe.” Melodically, the track resembles their peers ITZY and NMIX at some points, so if you like these groups, then VCHA is most likely going to be right up your ally.
Moreover, the song talks about being confident in yourself and not being scared of showing who you really are, a message that is certainly going to resonate with the younger audiences. Also, the video shows us each member’s story before debuting in VCHA. At the end, we can see them achieve their dreams after struggling a little bit to make them come true.
With this, VCHA joins South Korean agency, JYP Entertainment, and United States label, Republic Records as the third group in their alliance. Other acts in this music partnership include TWICE, Stray Kids and ITZY.
