The plot of Jeanne Du Barry aims to modernize and freely recreate the life of the courtesan and official mistress of Louis XV of France (character played by Depp).

However, according to experts, the director and the actress who plays this intriguing woman seem to be “obsessed” by the character, who refuses to freely use the history of the French King.

“Depp playing Depp as he sets himself up as king of France,” says El Mundo.
