You won’t believe which Netflix’s most successful k-drama displaced King the Land

Netflix has different series that battle every week to see which one will be the most important, making that there are titles that stay in the top 10 week after week and it is quite common to know that k-dramas are an important part of these tops.

Many people fell in love with the beautiful story of King the Land, which came to an end recently after 16 episodes that made the whole audience fall in love and left them wanting for more, but also on Netflix, there is a k-drama that took the title of the most watched lately from King the Land, showing that there is a lot of good quality material.

You won’t believe which is the most successful Netflix k-drama that displaced King the Land.

Based on Mae Mi’s webtoon Mask Girl, this show is directed by Kim Young-hoon. Mask Girl has become quite a trend after 7 episodes which recently arrived in August, making the series quickly become very famous.

“Kim Mo-mi dreamed of being a celebrity when she was younger, but now she is an office worker who drags a complex about her appearance. However, she makes a name for herself by working nights on an Internet broadcast, where she appears with her face covered by a mask. One day, an unexpected incident changes her life,” reads the synopsis.

Mask Girl quickly became the most watched k-drama worldwide, even surpassing hits like King The Land, thanks to the engaging storyline and superb performances by Lee Han-byeol.
