With the great success of the first installment of the Netflix streaming service series titled ‘Wednesday‘, the platform announced a second season, which had kept the fans of this production very happy and attentive, however the most recent update has disappointed everyone.
The arrival of this series on the platform in November 2022 became a global phenomenon, which led it to virality and made it the second most successful series on Netflix, just behind ‘Squid Game‘, so there are high expectations with its second installment.
Although Netflix confirmed last January that this installment would premiere in November of this year, this date had to be canceled, because protests by actors and screenwriters in Hollywood did not allow plans to begin filming this September to continue.
Therefore, any start of production has been postponed and fans will have to wait until the end of the strikes, which is not expected to happen soon, so that recordings finally begin and then the second season arrives on the platform.
This series stars Jenna Ortega as “Wednesday Addams, smart, sarcastic and a little dead inside, investigates a wave of murders while making friends—and enemies—at Nevermore Academy“, says the official synopsis of the streaming service.
