The successful Netflix series titled ‘You‘, which debuted with its first installment in 2018, has a new update about its fifth and final season, which has saddened its fans around the world.
This psychological thriller, based on the Caroline Kepnes novels, which follows the life of Joe Golberg, a serial killer, became a success on the streaming platform so far, having four seasons available and a fifth confirmed.
In March of this year, at the conclusion of the broadcast of the 4th season, the next installment was confirmed with which this story of crime and a strange type of love would be close, which would premiere at some point next year 2024.
However, due to the current indefinite hiatus in which Hollywood actors and scriptwriters have been in for a few months, doubts have arisen from the followers of this drama about whether this project will be released as expected.
Although it is unclear whether the script for the final season would have been completed before the Hollywood protests began, filming cannot begin until unions, recording studios and streaming services reach an agreement.
Taking that into account, in addition to the fact that the fourth season, which began filming in March 2022, was released in February of this year, the last installment could arrive to the screens at the end of 2024 or even later.
However, we just have to wait for the official announcements and it is expected that we will soon have the long-awaited ending of this acclaimed story available.
