V of BTS is currently promoting his debut solo album “Layover” on different South Korean music shows. The album has amassed huge success even before its official release, as it was able to break a pre-sales record that had never been seen for a solo artist in South Korea. You can say the BTS member has certainly put in work with his live performances, just like his own dog!
Yes, you read that right. The BTS vocalist featured his pet in one of his televised performances. The dog, named Yeontan (also known as Tan, Tannie, and Kim Yeontan) is a black Pomeranian dog that has accompanied V for 6 years now.
The lovely pet was first revealed on December 4, 2017 during bandmate’s Jin birthday V Live. Since then, Yeontan started living together with his owner and the other BTS members but had to stay with V’s parents for a while, as he could not take care of him due to his busy agenda.
Fortunately for the charming little pet, V now has all the time in the world for him and even had him featured in one of his performances. A few days ago the BTS vocalist performed the song “Slow Dancing,” as Yeontan was with him walking the sage in an adorable way. Sadly, V’s pet only joined the idol during the first half of the performance, as dancers joined V and the little dog could not be seen anymore.
Thanks to this, Yeontan is the first dog to ever make an appearance in a South Korean music show, marking a record that will probably not be achieved by any other idol (or pet for that matter). As a fun fact, this cutie is also on the cover of V’s album “Layover.”
