Of all the superheroes we are used to, Spider-man is an exception to many rules, as the arachnid superhero has a very different business strategy than the one we are used to, with the simple fact that Sony is involved, it changes the game a lot.
Spider-man has been one of the most successful superhero movies we know, as not only has his live action had a great reception with the multi-verse issue, even, exploring that theme, his animated movies have caused a lot of sensation. Now, the famous movies starring young actor Tom Holland have been given an official name by Marvel.
Marvel names the Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland
According to Jon Watts, the director of the Spider-Man trilogy, the three solo films produced by Tom Holland at Marvel Studios tell the complete story of Peter Parker’s origin as Spider-Man.
“Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films starring Tobey Maguire were really the gateway to modern superhero cinema in many ways,” Ryan Meinerding began to explain. “Both Andrew Garfield in the TAS films and Tom Holland in our ‘Home’ trilogy have only enhanced the legacy of the big screen web-slinger over two decades.”
Tom Holland made his debut as Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War (2016), joined by the iconic Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who played the character in the Sony-produced films.
All people were very excited about these movies because the three actors would come together in the final film. And now, Marvel Studios’ trilogy starring actor Tom Holland is henceforth known as ‘Home’
