A new movie of the horror genre has arrived on the popular Netflix streaming platform, which has left its viewers surprised and speechless when they see it, some have even assured that with its sinister and macabre plot only insane people could see it.

This film titled ‘Come Play‘, released in 2020, is a horror and suspense production directed by Jacob Chase, which is based on the story created by the same director in his short film called ‘Larry‘ from 2017, which deals with of a monster that is metered through electronic devices.

An autistic boy named Oliver, who has a difficult life because he can only communicate with people using his phone and is mistreated by his schoolmates.

One night this young boy finds an application on his phone called ‘Misunderstood Monsters‘, where he reads a story about a monster named Larry who was looking for a friend. At the end of the story, strange and paranormal events occur around him, dealing with a creature with the sinister desire to find a friend.

Lonely and desperate for a friend, young Oliver is constantly glued to his tablet. However, his precious screen time takes a turn when a hideous monster uses his device to enter his world“, says the official synopsis of this movie

Despite this production, starring Gillian Jacobs, John Gallagher Jr., Azhy Robertson and Winslow Fegley, positioned itself as number 1 on Netflix, due to its sinister but intriguing story, many have classified it as a film for insane people, due to its crudeness and horror that not everyone could bear.
