One of the most trend-setting horror movies lately is M3gan, since it not only got into the LGBT community, it also strengthened a new common fear that society has and that is Artificial Intelligence.
We live in a key moment in technology where artificial intelligence is getting more and more into our daily lives, and of course the horror genre has taken full advantage of this to show us stories that can give us a lot of fear and M3gan is not far behind.
After the great success that M3gan lived, even having presence in Universal’s Horror Nights, it is normal that people are already asking for a second installment and apparently, there is already new information about this.
New information about the second part of the horror movie M3gan revealed.
Although the current status of the production and the specific details of its story are unknown, there are some confirmations that give some credibility to the title. The director of the first installment, Gerard Johnstone, plans to return to what could now begin to be considered an upcoming “franchise”.
The second part of the M3gan film is estimated to be hitting theaters in 2025, but at least the news that there will indeed be a new production has fans of the horror genre very excited.
Akela Cooper, the screenwriter who co-wrote the original idea for M3gan with James Wan, is also involved in the project. For the sequel, the main couple, played by Allison Williams and Violet McGraw, is expected to return.
What do you think about it? Did you like the first installment of M3gan? Do you think a sequel is a good idea and will it surpass the first one?
