This production provided another perspective of the ‘Los Angeles Lakers‘ dynasty of the glorious decade of the 80s, this installment emphasized the history of American basketball, and is based on the Jeff Pearlman books, ‘Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s‘.
The series directed by Adan Mckay, at the time of its premiere was well received by the public, however over time things changed and the numbers decreased, it is for this reason that HBO makes the crude decision to cancel the series, since according to the reproductions obtained, the public was not interested.
