After the Fantastic Beasts movies, it was announced that HBO Max was working on a new Harry Potter series, which would run for 7 seasons over a 10-year period.
“We haven’t done anything with Harry Potter for over a decade. We haven’t done anything with Lord of the Rings,” said Zaslav, CEO of Warner, so it would be indicating that now these great stories would be returning.
Harry Potter has had a big breakthrough in terms of video games, being very present on that side, while Lord of the Rings has been streaming with a series.
On the Lord of the Rings side, it is known that the animated film The War of the Rohirrim, a prequel set 183 years before the events of The Two Towers, was recently delayed.
