The Star Wars movie directed by Taika Waititi would have been cancelled

Taika Waititi is a very recognized film director worldwide, as he has a very defined style that has made him direct very important films such as Thor.

Months ago it was made known that Taika had a lot of love for Star Wars and would love to direct a movie, soon after it was known that he would be in charge of one of the movies, making the community excited about this, as Taika’s movies, have a kind of comedy that is very well accepted worldwide.

The Star Wars movie directed by Taika Waititi would have been cancelled.

The Star Wars movie with Taika Waititi is completely dead, according to MyTimeToShineHello, a famous Twitter influencer who keeps up with all the news in the entertainment industry.

It seems that Taika’s film in the Luke Skywalker universe was not planned. At the Toronto International Film Festival, he was questioned about Shawn Levy’s Star Wars movie and said, “Unlike me, hopefully he can finish his Star Wars movie.”

“It could happen to me. And I think the Taika of 10 years ago would be very scared and nervous at that prospect. But if it’s not right, it’s not right. If it’s not ready, it’s not ready. With Star Wars, I don’t want to rush it. It’s something I wouldn’t want to just jump into without feeling like it’s unique, that it’s my movie and it makes sense. Because that would be a disaster. I’m working on the script right now. So I’ll do my best to create a story that everyone will love.”
