‘The Walking Dead’ undoubtedly became one of the best post-apocalyptic horror drama television series which led the producers to release numerous spin-offs such as ‘The Walking Dead: The One Who Lives, ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City‘ and ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon‘ which is going to present new walker’s variant.
AMC has always been at the forefront of bringing fresh ideas to the show and surely one of the most innovative was to incorporate new walker variants. This idea emerges to break the monotonous plot from the original series and surprise its fans all over the world.
‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ showed this progressive evolution from the Walkers, after one of the characters, Maggie faced a monstrous putrid being and the fans couldn’t help but show their excitement on social media. Now, the first episode of ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ showed a little more about what is going to be about the series and the newly evolved Walker variants.
The first episode, “L’âme Perdue” shows Daryl on the coast near Marseille and sets out on his return to America where he encounters new walker variants known as burners. The series didn’t explicitly indicate what a burner’s mark would mean for a human, however, there was no doubt the mark might have severe consequences if left untreated.
‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon’ fulfilled the fans’ expectations and they really enjoyed the first episode of the series premiered on September 10. The fans are waiting for the show to explain some details about the burners and praise the creators for innovating every time to keep the series fresh from day one.
