The successful saga of horror films ‘Final Destination‘ has returned confirming the 6th installment, a new production that is not expected considering that more than 10 years have passed since its last release, however this news indicates that its return is a fact and could change the course of history.
What was believed to be the last installment of this franchise ‘Final Destination 5‘ was released exactly 12 years ago, however the production company pleased fans by announcing a 6th installment that will feature the return of its most emblematic character from the saga.
The same creators of this acclaimed horror production revealed that actor Tony Todd would participate with his iconic role as William Bludworth, who was a mysterious coroner in the films ‘Final Destination‘, ‘Final Destination 2‘ and ‘Final Destination 5‘, which allowed him to be an icon of these movies.
Although not many details of the plot of this new installment have been revealed, it was revealed that it “follows a group of lifeguards and rescuers who escape the clutches of death, only to be killed by increasingly improbable and violent accidents“.
Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of the saga, has shared with the followers of this film project that this new installment will give viewers a deeper vision of the plot, which will change in every way the story that everyone knows and acclaims.
This production that has raised hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office will be made in Vancouver, Canada with the work of directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein and with a script written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor.
For its part, a possible release date was also revealed, which is at the beginning of June 2026, however it has not yet been officially confirmed, so we can only wait for the creator to return with news about this long-awaited project.
