Tom Holland’s surprise appearance in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful animated film “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” has been leaked online. It appears to be that the movie creators initially thought about integrating the British into the storyline, but eventually opted against it.
Reportedly, Tom Holland was intended to be introduced in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse as part of the plot. However, as the growing popularity of the franchise keeps fans buzzing, it is no surprise that his short contribution to the movie was leaked.
This can be seen in the movie’s art book titled “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: The Official Movie Special Book.” In this work, sketches showcase the main protagonist, Miles Morales, stumbling upon various Spider-personas. Among these heroes, Iron Spider, Spider-Girl, a velociraptor, and most importantly Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, with the latter wearing one of the costumes of the 2019 movie “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
In spite of the ongoing rumors and the unclear participation of Tom Holland in the animated movie, there is still hope for fans who would like to see him in the third release of Miles Morales’ Spider-Man saga.
Unfortunately, the movie, which was set to be premiered in March 2024, has been indefinitely postponed due to the current Hollywood actors and writers strike. Speculations say we might be able to see a contribution from Tom Holland in these Spider-Man movies, yet the things are not looking very promising, but one thing is for sure: these rumors are just fueling even more hype for the third Spider-Man animated film.
