Johnny Depp has been the talk of the town because of his numerous controversies and reincorporation on the big screen since the trial against Amber Heard. Despite the fact that media outlets speculated he might come back to star in the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean,’ their illusions vanished after it was confirmed he is not going to be part of the cast.
Depp’s fans stated there is no future for the franchise without Johnny in it because he is the starring role and the heart of the movie with his character, ‘Jack Sparrow.’ In addition, they were outraged on social media, sharing several posts criticizing the production and Disney itself.
This new release is set to be a reboot with a new Jack Sparrow, but there is no official statement regarding whether this would be a sequel from previous movies or a whole new start for Pirates of the Caribbean.
It was reported that ‘The Last of Us’ creator was working on the script for the sixth installment of the franchise. However, it was also reported it was highly unlikely that Johnny Depp would make an appearance during this new Disney direction which caused a commotion among his fans.
