Since her debut, BLACKPINK’s Lisa has been in the eye of the media for being part of one of the biggest K-pop girl-groups the world has ever seen and for having impressive dancing skills. The Thai rapper was able to earn fans of fans all over the globe with her spectacular performances in live shows. Currently, the “Money” performer is still solidifying her status as a legend in the K-pop genre after being the center of attention during an event in Europe.
Earlier this year, BLACKPINK fans, also known as BLINKS, were confused right after Lisa shared her visit to the iconic “Crazy Horse Cabaret” in Paris on her Instagram stories. However, misunderstandings quickly cleared up when the hit maker said she was visiting the cabaret to prepare 5 performances there that would include songs from the cabaret performed by herself.
Following this, fans could not help but to feel hyped up for Lisa’s participation in such an unexpected event. You would not expect to find K-pop idols at a cabaret, but Lisa was able to show her versatility as an artist outside the genre she is most known for. Thanks to this, the “As If It’s Your Last” rapper will make history for being the first woman in K-pop to ever be invited to perform in such an iconic place.
The cabaret has a “no pictures” and “no videos” policy, unfortunately. Still, BLINKS are hopeful to see the singer perform in this stage and expect Lisa to have a plan so that her supporters do not miss a single detail of her five performances in France.
Cabaret is a form of art. It's a theatrical entertainment that involves singing integrated with different types of dances. In order to perform in a cabaret, one not only can sing and dance but also has to be good in connecting with the audience. Lisa have all of these factors.
