Jungkook is in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons because of his current campaign with Calvin Klein. During his latest photoshoot for the brand, Calvin Klein was harshly criticized for excessive photoshopping of the Golden Maknae, and his fans, better known as the ARMY, showed their discontent on social media.
On September 1, Calvin Klein decided to celebrate Jungkook’s 26th birthday by releasing pictures from its campaign with Jungkook, which caused a furor among the ARMY at first instance. However, the ARMY quickly noticed something weird in those sets of photographs.
The ARMY stated that Calvin Klein photoshopped Jungkook’s face to the very limit. This situation led the ARMY to make a call-out to Calvin Klein’s editing department to fix this situation and harshly criticized the brand for this unnecessary editing.
In addition, the ARMY assured the Golden Maknae doesn’t need to use this kind of edition in his photographs. They also stated he is not used to using Photoshop in other projects and Calvin Klein should delete the pictures as soon as possible.
Neither Calvin Klein nor Jungkook have addressed the situation regarding the excessive Photoshop use during their latest campaign. However, it is expected if this situation persists, they will have to release a statement explaining the reason why they used Photoshop to trespass the limits.
